Erin Elizabeth Dunn

Ed.S, NCSP

I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) attending UNLV to pursue my PhD in School Psychology. My areas of experience and interest include:

  • Learning Differences

  • Educational Evaluations

  • Neurodevelopmental Disorders

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Executive Functioning

  • ADHD

  • Group Therapy Facilitation

  • Working with Children and Adolescents

Therapeutic Approach

I strongly believe in a strengths-based approach to both diagnostic evaluations and therapy. I believe that neurodivergence is a gift, and that our world is made better by all kinds of thinkers and doers. I believe in helping individuals understand themselves so they can understand their talents and grow through their challenges. I focus on centering the client and their experiences, with individually tailored treatment and recommendations to support their success across all areas of life. In a neurotypically-centered world, I believe in equipping individuals with the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to navigate daily challenges and capitalize on their unique strengths.

Education and Experience

I obtained my Ed.S (Education Specialist) degree from the University of Washington in 2019. I practiced as a certified School Psychologist from 2019-2022 in Washington State in a district outside of Seattle. Prior to this, I have extensive experience working with youth on the Autism Spectrum, as well as ADHD and learning differences. I have also worked in outdoor education environments and wilderness therapy.

Personal Interests

I am originally from Upstate New York, and I moved to Seattle in 2015. I enjoy coffee, hiking, eating good food, and being outside. I love music, art, and creativity. I have a strong sense of adventure and love backpacking, traveling, and exploring new places. I love the desert sun and exploring the beautiful landscape of the Southwest! On the weekends, you'll find me exploring new restaurants and trails, going to Aces games, playing board games with friends, or lounging with my cat Felix.
