Deanna Tran

I am Sandstone's Public Relations Manager and take care of the clinic's website, special interest project, and social media needs. I support the Sandstone team by creating media that advertises their current workshops and therapy groups to the community. I also help manage the "Tackling Test Anxiety" online course created by Drs. Aranda and Mihelic. I built their social media pages devoted to providing the public with free psychoeducation for managing test anxiety.

Despite being born in Fountain Valley, California, I was raised in Las Vegas almost my whole life; I like to consider myself a Battle Born State native! I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Marriage and Family Therapy.

 

As time evolved, so did my interests - social change and community action became the center of my professional pursuits and inspired me to earn my Master of Social Work at UNLV. Currently, I continue a lot of my social work practice in not-for-profit spaces and am the coordinator for the Nevada Immigrant Coalition.
